Egg lunch

Eggs are one of the 'superfoods' because they are high in protein and although high in calories because of the yolk's fat content it's "good fat" full of Omegas - that 'they' say are good for the Liver (and that is the organ that cleanses the body and processes fat storage!)

I love hard boiled eggs and a childhood favourite is to have it sliced on buttery white bread. So I have appeased my desire for a bit of home comfort and had the white bread (95 cals) with a bit of light olive oil spread (14) and the egg (88 cals for medium) with half a salad tomato (7). With the other egg (88) I've taken out the yolk, mixed it with 1.5 tsp of salad cream (7) and some curry powder then spooned that back into the egg - another childhood comeback.

Total = 303 calories.
