Spaghetti Bol

One of the first dishes I learnt to make as a child. Quick, easy and yummy. The dish normally just has onion, mince, tomatoe (paste and passata and chopped) with some garlic, thyme and oregano but I also add button mushrooms and peas for bulk, flavour and nutrition.

The bol sauce in this pan easily serves 5 people at 220 calories each. With lean mince one serving has only 6g fat (that includes the tsp of olive oil) and packs a whopping 26.3g of protein. The spaghetti is quite calorific but I managed a decent plate - 42g dry was 130g cooked at 150 calories. So a sprinkling of low fat cheese (20g at 61cals) and we have another winning 400 calorie meal.
